The ELM project will be under discussion at the EUCERT day 2010 in Budapest. It will feature as part of a series of presentations which discuss the use and role of ECQA job roles within industry as part of the Montific conference.

The dEUcert Project aims to promote and enhance ECQA Certification schema throughout Europe. As part of the DEUCERT project, a project blog has been set up to keep updates on the promotion of the ECQA. The blog is located at: http://deucert.blog.de/.

As part of the ELM project, a piloting phase will be implemented in 2010 which will provide participants with free training and full qualification in the area of e-learning management.

Furthermore, the ELM project will be presented upon at the EU Certificates Day 2009 (as part of the EuroSPI conference) – which takes place on the 2nd September 2009. The name of the presentation is “Networked Learning is an Industrial Success Factor – Certified E-Learning Manager” and will be taking place from 15.00 – 15.30.

The ECQA project was the product of a 2005 Leonardo da Vinci program to establish a European Quality Network (the “Network Project EQN”, 2005 – 2007). The overall objective of the EQN Leonardo network project was to establish an ECQA (European Certification and Qualification Association) which, supported by training organisations from European countries (currently organisations from 18 countries participate), would install a set of quality criteria and common certification rules to be applied across the different European regions in the Life Long Learning scope in the IT and services sector.
The E-Learning Manager Project will be accredited by the ECQA, along with a number of other projects such as a Certified e-Business Manager, a Certified e-Security Manager and a Certified IT-Security Manager. To view a list of accredited European professions, click here.

Leonardo da Vinci is part of the European education and training programme “Life-long Learning” and focuses on initial and further vocational education and training.

Welcome to the ELM (E-Learning Manager) Site. This is a website for the European Project no: LLP/LdV/TOI/2008/IRL – 507 which aims to ultimately aims to develop and mainstream a Europe-wide skills recognition and qualification service for e-learning managers, and other individual sat management level charged with evaluating sourcing or implementing e-learning solutions.
