Nationally Funded Projects

On a national level, the department participates in a range of Enterprise Ireland funded work, primarily through a range of innovation vouchers; such work generally involves the provision of education and training-related services to a range of local and national clients. Some of this work, as is the intension behind the innovation voucher scheme, has and should continue to lead to actual commercial work.
DEIS is also the institute co-ordinator for the HEA-funded National Digital Learning Repository project in the Cork Institute of Technology.
